The Vietnam International Digital Week (VIDW) 2026 opened on October 28 in Quang Ninh province. Hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Quang Ninh People's Committee, the event draws approximately 500 delegates from nearly 30 countries.

A central feature of the week is the Ministerial Roundtable titled “Building smart connectivity, Governing AI, Enabling AI transformation.” This forum brings together government leaders, international organizations, and industry experts to discuss policy frameworks, capacity building, and the role of the public sector in driving AI adoption to boost socio-economic development.

The event includes high-level forums on strategic technology, international cooperation workshops, and exhibitions of digital products. It aims to foster partnerships between the public and private sectors while sharing global experiences in digital transformation, innovation, and the management of artificial intelligence.
