Hanoi University of Science and Technology and GELEXIMCO launch innovation center

Hanoi University of Science and Technology and GELEXIMCO have inaugurated an Interdisciplinary Innovation Center. The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including General Secretary and President To Lam.

Following the Design Factory model initiated by Aalto University in Finland, the center is the first in Vietnam to meet the standards of the global Design Factory network. The facility aims to foster interdisciplinary research, encourage entrepreneurship, and strengthen the connection between the state, educational institutions, and enterprises.

GELEXIMCO representatives outlined research directions focused on core technology development, digital transformation in schools, and the popularization of STEM education and artificial intelligence (AI). The center is expected to enhance human resource quality by integrating training, research, and practical application.
