GELEXIMCO and academic collaboration in Vietnam AI and STEM

Overview

Hanoi University of Science and Technology and GELEXIMCO have partnered to launch an Interdisciplinary Innovation Center. Modeled after the Design Factory in Finland, the center is the first in Vietnam to meet global Design Factory network standards. It aims to promote interdisciplinary research, entrepreneurship, and connections between the state, academia, and industry, with a focus on digital transformation and STEM education.

Following this, GELEXIMCO Group expanded its involvement in the sector by establishing Geleximco AI & Edtech JSC. This new company intends to develop a national STEM and AI education ecosystem. Key initiatives include the creation of an ‘Education AI Layer’ featuring smart assistants for school management, an ‘AI Teaching Copilot’ for educators, and an ‘AI Tutor’ for students, alongside an open STEM platform to connect experts and institutions.
