Vietnam 2026 university admissions release score thresholds and conversion tables

On 3 July, a group of southern Vietnamese universities—including Nguyen Tất Thành, Hoa Sen and Gia Định—published their 2026 admission floor scores (điểm sàn). Health‑related programmes kept high thresholds, while most other fields set scores between 15 and 23 points depending on the admission method (academic record, aptitude test or national high‑school graduation exam).

The same day, Hanoi National University announced a percentile‑based conversion table linking the HSA aptitude‑test scores to the high‑school graduation‑exam scores, aiming to make cross‑method comparisons more transparent. Bach Khoa Hanoi later released projected entry scores ranging from 20 to over 28.5 points for 68 programmes and detailed how to translate scores across its three admission streams (talent, aptitude‑test and graduation‑exam). Duy Tân University also issued its first‑round admission scores and outlined minimum point requirements (15 points for most programmes, higher for health and law fields) and priority‑point rules.

The Ministry of Education and Training warned students to avoid common registration mistakes—such as waiting until the deadline, failing to confirm OTP changes, overlooking published floor scores and mis‑ordering preferences—during the ongoing “day of choice” admission period that runs until 14 July.
