Hanshin Umeda Store in Osaka unveils 'Yakkyoku no Hitorigoto' exhibition and Shikoku food showcase

From July 15‑27, 2026 the Hanshin Umeda main store in Osaka will host a special exhibition titled “Yakkyoku no Hitorigoto Original Novel Exhibition – Poison, Medicine, Science and Mystery.” The display features large‑scale printed novel pages, character relationship charts, key‑item replicas and original illustrations, plus limited‑edition merchandise such as a notebook, fan and badge set. Admission is ¥2,200 for adults and ¥1,200 for students, with additional ticket‑plus‑goods bundles available.

Starting July 22 through July 27, the store’s first‑floor Food Festival Terrace will run the “5th Imadoki! Shikoku” event, highlighting foods and drinks from the Shikoku region. Visitors can sample craft beers brewed with Ehime’s “Uchinuki” water and naked wheat, regional sake, smoked fish, udon, and other local specialties, many offered by the “People, Travel, Good Products” project. The fair includes a bar, retail stalls and promotional items, aiming to promote Shikoku’s culinary heritage.
