Hanuman Ansh achieves massive box office success in India

The devotional film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, inspired by the life and teachings of spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba, has become an unexpected box office sleeper hit in India. Produced on a modest budget of approximately ₹2 crore, the film has reportedly amassed over ₹72 crore in gross earnings, demonstrating significant growth through word-of-mouth after a slow initial release.

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film traces the spiritual journey of a character mentored by Baba. Its success has drawn praise from various figures, including former cricketer Virender Sehwag and actress Kangana Ranaut. Following this momentum, the director has confirmed that a sequel, ‘Hanuman Ansh 2’, is in development. The upcoming installment is expected to explore further chapters of Neem Karoli Baba’s life, including his connection to locations such as Firozabad, Agra, and Mathura.

Hombale Films has announced that the movie is scheduled for an international release on September 11, 2026, aiming to bring the spiritual story to global audiences.
