Hanuman Ansh reaches ₹309 crore at Indian box office

The devotional film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, has achieved significant commercial success at the Indian box office, crossing the ₹309.50 crore nett mark after 60 days of release.

The film experienced an unusual slow-burn trajectory, starting with a quiet opening of ₹0.90 crore in its first week before gaining momentum through word of mouth. It reached a peak in its fifth week with ₹84.75 crore. While earlier projections suggested a total of ₹350 crore, recent Monday collections indicate a potential slowdown.

Actress and producer Richa Chadha commented on the film’s success, noting the growing mainstream popularity of Indian mythology and spiritual themes in cinema. While acknowledging the strong audience connection to such content, Chadha offered a measured perspective, stating that the success of religious themes does not necessarily signal a broader, definitive shift in the industry's future direction.
