Hanuman Ansh surpasses ₹300 crore worldwide at the box office

The devotional drama Hanuman Ansh has emerged as a major box office success, surpassing ₹300 crore in worldwide gross collections. Inspired by the life and teachings of saint Neem Karoli Baba, the film, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, has demonstrated unusual longevity in theaters.

After a modest start with only ₹1.08 crore in its opening week, the film experienced a significant turnaround driven by word-of-mouth. It set a record for the largest sixth week for a Hindi film, earning approximately ₹76 crore nett during that period. As of its 42nd day, the film's domestic net collection stands at approximately ₹243.38 crore, with a worldwide gross of ₹309.15 crore.

The film's success has also impacted industry expectations for upcoming releases. Observers have noted that the soundtrack of Hanuman Ansh has achieved significant popularity, creating competitive pressure for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming high-budget production, Ramayana.
