Hanuman Ansh crosses ₹400 crore worldwide as new releases see box office decline

The Indian film industry is seeing significant box office milestones and shifts in momentum. The devotional film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, has crossed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide after 52 days in theaters. Despite being a small-budget production, it has sustained strong interest into its eighth week, surpassing the lifetime collections of several major films.

In contrast, newer releases are experiencing post-weekend declines. ‘The One: Force of the Forest’, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Tamanna Bhatia, earned approximately ₹5.25 crore on its fourth day, bringing its total Indian net collection to ₹38.85 crore and its worldwide gross to over ₹50 crore. Similarly, Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ saw a significant drop on its fifth day, earning ₹5 crore compared to ₹15.70 crore the previous day, though its total Indian net collection stands at ₹97.10 crore.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ continues to be a major outlier in terms of longevity, maintaining steady occupancy even as newer titles enter the market.
