Hanuman Ansh film crosses Rs 200 crore at box office

The devotional biographical film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, based on the life of spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba, has emerged as a major sleeper hit at the Indian box office. Despite a modest reported budget of approximately Rs 2 crore and a slow start that led some to label it a failure, the film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide.

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and starring Shobhinaw Satyaa, the film’s success is being attributed to strong positive word-of-mouth. Producers Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar have described the film's unexpected commercial turnaround as a ‘miracle of Maharaj Ji’.

Addressing recent online speculation, producer Ragini Sona clarified that reports of a Rs 100 crore OTT streaming deal are entirely false. She stated that the team is currently focused on the theatrical run and will make official announcements regarding digital releases only after internal discussions. The film is expected to continue its run as it approaches the Rs 300 crore milestone.
