Ascott Limited expands Indonesia portfolio to 150 hotels in 20 cities

The Ascott Limited hospitality group marked its 30‑year anniversary in Indonesia with the "30 & Beyond" campaign, highlighting a portfolio of more than 150 hotels across roughly 20 cities. Since entering the market in 1996 with a serviced‑residence in Jakarta, the company now operates under ten brands, including Citadines, Somerset, Oakwood, Fox and Yello.

Key milestones include the 2018 acquisition of local chain Tauzia, which added mid‑scale and lifestyle concepts, and a 2025 round of eight new contracts for about 1 000 additional rooms in Batam, Bali, Bandung and Tangerang. Upcoming openings feature the lyf Resort Labuan Bajo and the Oakwood Jimbaran Villas, slated for 2027, underscoring a continued focus on resort‑ and leisure‑oriented properties.

The campaign combines discounted rates, culinary experiences and sustainability initiatives to attract both leisure and business travelers.
