Harmancık hosts festivities for 700th anniversary of Bursa conquest

The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality held festivities in Harmancık to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the conquest of Bursa. The event, held at the Harmancık Millet Bahçesi, featured participation from local officials, including District Governor Muhammed Safa Kömürcü and Mayor Haşim Ali Arıkan.

Activities included exhibitions by women's associations and cooperatives, a planetarium sky tent for youth, and traditional sports such as archery and matrak. The program also featured a Mehter band performance, magic shows, a Kahoot competition, Turkish folk music, and a traditional Hacivat-Karagöz shadow play.

The district festival series is scheduled to continue in Mustafakemalpaşa on Tuesday, August 18.
