Harris Teeter adds combined grocery and prescription delivery via Instacart

Harris Teeter, a Kroger subsidiary, announced a new service that lets customers receive eligible prescriptions together with grocery orders through Instacart. Orders can be placed via the Harris Teeter app or website, and the combined delivery is fulfilled by the retailer’s own pharmacy teams. Participation requires enrollment in the My Prescriptions program and Online Pay, with eligibility varying by medication type, delivery address and local regulations.

Lindsay Cappoziello, senior director of health and wellness at Harris Teeter, said the offering "makes it possible for more families to manage their health in a convenient and efficient way." The service expands the chain’s existing Instacart grocery delivery, which operates across more than 250 stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, Delaware, Florida and the District of Columbia.
