Harrison Ford to return as Indiana Jones for new Disney World attraction

Harrison Ford will return to his role as Indiana Jones through a new attraction at Walt Disney World. During the D23 2026 event, Disney announced that an audio-animatronic figure will be created using Ford as a model for the character.

The attraction, titled ‘Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent’, will be located in the new Tropical Americas land within Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is scheduled to open in 2027. The experience is designed to take guests beneath an ancient Maya temple to investigate a mystery involving supernatural dangers and a massive serpent inspired by Maya mythology.
