The 25th-anniversary special edition of ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ has reached the top of the Vietnamese box office. Released on August 26, the film earned approximately 2 billion VND in its first morning, surpassing local films such as ‘Nghi He So Nghi Hoi’ and ‘Ho Linh Trang Si: Bi An Mo Vua Dinh’. This limited engagement runs for only nine days, from August 26 to September 3, and includes 12 minutes of exclusive content.

Notable cut scenes include the Sorting Hat’s annual song, more detailed interactions involving Uncle Vernon and wizards, and the timeline gap between Harry leaving the Dursleys and boarding the Hogwarts Express.
