Haryana CM launches startup initiative and promotes sustainable farming
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has launched the ‘Startup Haryana Seva Sankalp’ program, an initiative designed to foster grassroots entrepreneurship across all 23 districts of the state. Unveiled at Kurukshetra University, the program aims to decentralize industrial and technological growth, ensuring that innovators have access to necessary resources to prevent worthy ideas from being left behind.
In addition to supporting startups, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for agricultural reform during an agriculture fair in Hisar. Addressing farmers and scientists at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Saini advocated for sustainable farming practices to combat changing climatic conditions. He highlighted the importance of crop diversification, water conservation, and the adoption of modern machinery, such as cotton-picking machines, to increase yields while reducing resource consumption.
