Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini approves Rs 340 crore projects, forms natural‑farming committees

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini sanctioned procurement and development proposals totaling roughly Rs 340 crore after negotiations that trimmed project costs by about Rs 15 crore. The approved works include 11 kV metering and panel equipment for state electricity distributors, laboratory gear for the Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative, and a series of infrastructure ventures such as master roads, micro‑sewage treatment plants, storm‑water drainage, and large‑capacity sewage treatment facilities across the Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, and Panchkula metropolitan areas.

In a separate announcement, Saini introduced the "Prakriti Shri Anna Prerak Kisan Committees" in every district to promote natural farming. The committees will act as ambassadors, visiting farms and linking growers with government support. He also directed the release of subsidies for farmers practicing natural farming who apply for cows, emphasizing the scheme’s goal of restoring the farmer‑nature relationship, conserving water and soil, and lowering cultivation costs.
