Hasan Ali's Merger Drives Plot in Turkish Soap 'Forbidden Fruit

Mert proposes a merger between the financially troubled Argun Holding and the wealthier Kuyu Holding, which is owned by Adana entrepreneur Hasan Ali, known as “the President.” Three months after Halit’s death, Argun faces a deep crisis, and Sahika teams up with Mert to pressure Ender into signing the deal despite his opposition. The agreement is celebrated with a lavish dinner hosted by Hasan Ali, attended by Ender, Sahika, Zehra and Mert, though Ender finds the event excessive and questions Hasan Ali’s suitability as the holding’s representative.

In parallel, Yildiz, after a series of failed job interviews, decides to take control of her life by seeking a new husband and a new home. With help from her mother Asuman and friends Caner, Emir and Rukiye, she evaluates several suitors before becoming infatuated with the affluent bachelor Çağatay (Catagay). After moving into a new apartment, Yildiz discovers that Çağatay lives in the same building, learns he is engaged to Selin, and later consoles him when the relationship ends.
