Overview

The fourth season of the Turkish soap *Forbidden Fruit* (Yasak Elma) centers on the fallout of patriarch Halit Argun’s death. His will allocates assets to his young son, Halit Can, via a foundation to prevent Yildiz from managing them. Amidst a severe financial crisis at Argun Holding, Mert proposes a merger with Hasan Ali’s Kuyu Holding. This move is complicated by Sahika, who allies with Mert to pressure Ender into signing the deal.

As the merger progresses, Hasan Ali hosts lavish dinners to celebrate the alliance, though Ender remains skeptical of his suitability. The corporate struggle reaches a turning point when Ender exposes Sahika’s conspiracy against Mert by manipulating Haluk into a confession. This results in Sahika’s removal from the board and Mert’s reinstatement.

Parallel romantic subplots follow Yildiz as she pursues a relationship with the affluent Çağatay. This relationship faces continuous instability due to family interference and personal deceptions. Tensions are exacerbated by Ender and Sahika, who attempt to destabilize the couple by involving a former associate, Nurgül.

Recent developments have seen escalating violence and deception. Cansu Yildirim is set to set fire to the Kuyucu villa, potentially endangering both Çağatay and Yildiz. Furthermore, Sahika experiences a medical crisis after Hasan Ali secretly administers a substance to her. Following her apparent loss of consciousness, Hasan Ali attempts to hide her body and eliminate evidence. This leads Ender to report Sahika’s disappearance to the police; however, when Ender is called to a morgue to identify a body, she discovers the deceased is not Sahika. Amidst this, Feride has accused Hasan Ali of having a mistress, citing a necklace linked to Sahika.
