Havan opens $100 million megastore in Tramandaí, Brazil

Brazilian retailer Havan is set to open a new megastore in Tramandaí on 15 August. The 10,000‑square‑metre store will feature more than 350,000 items, a food court, free parking and a replica of the Statue of Liberty that arrived on 4 August. The project represents an investment of roughly R$ 100 million and will create about 200 direct jobs for residents of Tramandaí and neighboring towns.

The Tramandaí outlet is Havan’s 195th store and the second location in Rio Grande do Sul’s northern coast, following the 2021 opening in Capão da Canoa. The company has announced plans to continue expanding in the region with future megastores slated for Osório and Torres.
