In early July 2026, founder Luciano Hang inspected the R$ 100 million, 10,000 m² megastore under construction in Tramandaí, Rio Grande do Sul. By mid-August, the Tramandaí store officially opened, marking Havan’s 195th location. The facility was reportedly constructed in just 90 days. This opening is part of a broader strategy to reach 200 stores by the end of 2026 to coincide with the company’s 40th anniversary, with the 200th unit scheduled to open in Fortaleza, Ceará, in November. The company aims to employ approximately 25,000 people and reach R$ 22 billion in revenue by the end of 2026. In September 2026, Havan was ranked as the second largest department store in Brazil according to the Top 300 Brazilian Retail Ranking 2026, prepared by the Retail Think Tank Brasil (IRTT) Institute. The ranking, which evaluates performance from 2025, placed the retailer 14th in the general classification of the country’s 300 largest retail companies. Hang attributed this achievement to the company’s four decades of work.
