Havan ranked as Brazil’s second-largest department store

Havan has been ranked as the second largest department store in Brazil according to the Top 300 Brazilian Retail Ranking 2026, prepared by the Retail Think Tank Brasil (IRTT) Institute. The ranking, which evaluates company performance from 2025, places the retailer in 14th place in the general classification of the country’s 300 largest retail companies.

Founded in 1986 in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Havan has expanded from a small fabric store to a network of 196 branches across 23 states and the Federal District. Owner Luciano Hang attributed the achievement to the company’s four decades of work and its ability to generate employment and income nationwide. As the company approaches its 40th anniversary in 2026, it aims to reach a milestone of 200 mega-stores in Brazil.
