Havan to invest R$ 100 million in new Torres mega-store

Retail chain Havan has announced plans to build a new mega-store in Torres, located on the North Coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The project involves an investment of R$ 100 million and is expected to create approximately 200 direct jobs.

The proposed facility will be situated on a 30,000 square meter plot at the intersection of Estrada do Mar and Avenida Castelo Branco. The structure itself will feature 10,000 square meters of built area, designed as an integrated complex offering shopping, services, and leisure options.

Expansion director Nilton Hang presented the project to Torres Mayor Delci Behenck Dimer. While the investment is confirmed, construction is pending approval from the municipal government regarding environmental, urbanistic, and building permit requirements.
