As of September 5, 2026, hazelnut prices in the Turkish free market show significant regional variations. Giresun currently holds the highest prices, with round (tombul) hazelnuts reaching up to 210 TL per kilogram. Other notable regional prices include Ordu at 200 TL, Samsun at approximately 182.25 TL, and Trabzon at 181.50 TL.

While free market rates fluctuate, the Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO) has announced purchase prices for the 2026/2027 season that are higher than current market rates. The TMO has set prices between 250 TL and 255 TL for Giresun and Levant quality hazelnuts, based on specific yield and quality criteria.
