HBO and Sky Launch Legal Drama “War” for October Premiere

HBO and Sky have released the first teaser and images for the eight‑part legal drama series War, set to debut in early October. Created by George Kay, the series follows rival London law firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne as they battle over a high‑profile divorce between tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller). The cast also includes Archie Renaux as ambitious junior lawyer Johnny Warren, Phoebe Fox, James McArdle, Nina Sosanya and Pip Torrens among others. War will premiere on 1 October on HBO and HBO Max in the United States and on 2 October on Sky and the NOW streaming service in the United Kingdom, with additional rollout in Australia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The series is co‑produced by New Pictures and Observatory Pictures, with international sales handled by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution and a two‑season order already secured.
