The case is described as potentially being the “largest divorce trial in British legal history.” The ensemble cast includes Archie Renaux as ambitious junior lawyer Johnny Warren, alongside Phoebe Fox, James McArdle, Nina Sosanya, and Pip Torrens.

The production is a co-production involving New Pictures, Observatory Pictures, Sky, and HBO, with international sales handled by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution. The first season will consist of eight weekly episodes airing on Thursdays. A second season has already been ordered and is expected to feature Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald, and David Harewood.
