HBO Max announces legal drama ‘War’ starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller

HBO Max and Sky have released the trailer for the new legal drama series ‘War’, scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2026. Created by George Kay, the series features an ensemble cast including Dominic West and Sienna Miller.

The first season consists of eight weekly episodes airing on Thursdays. The plot centers on a high-stakes legal battle between two of London’s most powerful law firms, Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne. The central conflict involves the explosive divorce between British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson and international film star Carla Duval, a case described as potentially being the largest divorce trial in British legal history.

The story also follows ambitious young lawyer Jonathan ‘Johnny’ Warren as he navigates the ruthless legal world. A second season has already been approved and is currently in production, expected to feature Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald, and David Harewood.
