HC Motor České Budějovice defeats Vienna Capitals 6-2

HC Motor České Budějovice defeated the Vienna Capitals 6-2 in the second game of the Energie AG Motor Cup. The victory secured second place for the hosts in the tournament, which was won by Slovan Bratislava.

České Budějovice's performance was highlighted by multi-goal efforts from Jan Štencel and Pavel Novák, while Jan Ordoš also contributed two goals. The Capitals struggled with penalties, conceding four of the six goals while shorthanded. Leon Wallner and Jérémy Grégoire scored the only goals for Vienna.

Following this tournament, HC Motor České Budějovice will travel to Switzerland to participate in a prestigious pre-season tournament, facing Zug and Rapperswil-Jona.
