Health and prevention community events scheduled in Poland

Various health and prevention-focused community events are scheduled in Poland.

In Baranów, the “Zdrowo i pokoleniowo” (Healthy and Generational) Prevention and Health Picnic is set for September 12. The event aims to improve long-term health through education on physical and mental well-being. The program includes healthy food tastings, workshops for making healthy snacks, first aid demonstrations using mannequins, and addiction prevention shows for youth. Entertainment features include fire theater, concerts, and culinary demonstrations by chef Kurt Scheller.

In Siemianowice Śląskie, the Dr. S. Sakiel Burn Treatment Center will host an educational picnic titled “Burns – know, understand, prevent” on September 5, 2026. The event focuses on burn prevention and treatment, featuring expert lectures on modern medical methods such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and rehabilitation. Activities include first aid workshops with local fire departments, bone marrow donor registration through POLTRANSPLANT and DKMS, and demonstrations of telemedicine and eye-tracking technologies used in pain management.
