Spain hosts various regional health and sustainability fairs
Multiple regional initiatives across Spain are promoting public health, sustainability, and community well-being. In Orihuela, the VI Health Fair has opened, offering vaccination services for flu and COVID-19, alongside educational activities for students and a ‘Health Passport’ program to encourage engagement with various health entities.
In San Vicente del Raspeig, the first Sustainability and Health Fair is being organized to promote responsible consumption and healthy lifestyles through interactive thematic zones. Additionally, the municipality has completed the acquisition of the final plot of land for the Inmaculada site, investing approximately 870,000 euros to transform the area into a public space.
Other regional activities include the II Monegros Centro Health Fair in Sariñena, Sena, and Lanaja, which focuses on active living and emergency response coordination. In Zamora, the Spanish Association Against Cancer is resuming free English workshops to foster social inclusion, while the AFA Zamora foundation has held sessions regarding cognitive impairment and legal decision-making for dementia patients.
