Regional health and sustainability initiatives in Spain

Overview

Various regional initiatives are being implemented across Spain to promote public health, sustainability, and community well-being. In Orihuela, the VI Health Fair has launched, providing vaccination services for flu and COVID-19 alongside educational programs and a ‘Health Passport’ initiative.

In San Vicente del Raspeig, the first Sustainability and Health Fair is being organized to encourage responsible consumption and healthy lifestyles. This follows the municipality’s acquisition of land for the Inmaculada site to create a new public space.

Other regional efforts include the II Monegros Centro Health Fair in Sariñena, Sena, and Lanaja, which emphasizes active living and emergency response. Additionally, in Zamora, the Spanish Association Against Cancer is resuming free English workshops for social inclusion, while the AFA Zamora foundation is conducting sessions on cognitive impairment and legal decision-making for dementia patients.
