Health awareness events scheduled across Italy

Various health and wellness initiatives are set to take place in Italy on Sunday, October 18, 2026, focusing on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.

In Roccabernarda, the “Unite against breast cancer” event will feature a health walk starting from Piazza Aldo Barbaro, followed by a conference in the municipal council hall. The seminar, titled “Primary and secondary prevention of breast cancer,” will include medical, nutritional, and psychological perspectives from experts such as oncologist Raffaele Leuzzi and nutritionist Anastasia Facente.

In Grosseto, the “Obesity: the cure in walking” initiative will mark Obesity Day. Participants will gather at Bastione Molino a Vento for a walk along the Medici Walls to promote physical activity and social cohesion. The event, which includes participation from Uisp Grosseto, aims to encourage healthy lifestyles and collective well-being through outdoor movement.
