Health centers in Tierra del Fuego announce updated service schedules
Health centers in Tierra del Fuego have released updated service schedules to facilitate community access to medical care.
In Ushuaia, Río Grande, and Tolhuin, Primary Health Care Centers (CAPS) will provide various services on Saturday, September 12. Available services include general medicine, nursing, dentistry, vaccinations (including influenza), sexual health counseling, and contraceptive distribution. Specific locations such as CAPS 4, 5, 6, and 7 in Ushuaia offer different levels of care, including walk-in services for urgent situations. Additionally, the Río Grande Regional Hospital will provide dental emergency services, and the Tolhuin Modular Hospital will offer 24-hour emergency care.
In the Villa Elena neighborhood, the First Aid Station has expanded its weekly medical offerings. The center provides clinical medicine, obstetrics, dentistry, nursing, immunization, and testing services. Scheduled practitioners include Dr. Susana Provera and Dr. María Paula Roldán for clinical medicine, Lic. Mariano Domínguez for obstetrics, and Dr. Gastón Torres for dentistry.
