Health initiatives launch oncology prevention campaigns in Poland
Various organizations in Poland are launching initiatives to increase oncological prevention awareness during October and November.
Thai Wok has introduced the ‘Pink & Blue’ campaign, utilizing specially designed pink and blue food boxes. A portion of the proceeds from these sales will support the Nie Warto Foundation, which funds free ultrasound screenings for women and men through its ‘Biustowniczki’ and ‘Mosznowładcy’ initiatives. These programs target specific age groups, including women aged 18–35 and men for prostate and testicular health.
Simultaneously, the Energa Foundation is conducting mobile medical actions in several cities, including Słupsk and Gdynia. These efforts leverage large sporting events to reach the public. In Słupsk, a mobile medical unit will offer BRCA1 testing during a SKT Czarni Słupsk match. In Gdynia, an Arka Gdynia match will feature a mobile clinic providing comprehensive blood-based oncology screening packages for both men and women.
