Local Health Outreach Expands in Argentina's Formosa and Mexico's San Luis Potosí
In Formosa province, Argentina, the Lote 8 health centre carried out a mobile primary‑care session for the indigenous communities of Misión Nueva and Villa Nueva. Teams provided medical examinations, nursing checks, vaccinations, free medication and cervical‑cancer screening education, with director Diego Fernández highlighting the province’s policy of bringing health services to remote villages.
In Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the municipal Coordination of Citizen Promotion maintains a permanent free‑medication programme. Basic, pediatric and controlled medicines are distributed to vulnerable families at the office on Ignacio Aldama street, under Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz and programme head Ofelia Ortega Samaniego, who also encourages community donations of surplus drugs.
