Health Prevention Events Held in Grottaminarda and Reggio Calabria, Italy

A free health‑prevention day was organized in Grottaminarda by the local AMOS association. Over a hundred residents took part in screenings and consultations offered by specialists including an oncologist, dermatologist, radiologist, audiometrist and nutritionist. The event was supported by the municipal administration, the mayor Massimiliano Minichiello, the Forum delle Donne of Montemiletto and the ANPAS group of Montemiletto.

In Reggio Calabria, the Arcigay health desk continues its activities to promote wellbeing and preventive care. It provides information, counseling and free HIV‑testing sessions, with an inclusive approach for the LGBTI community. The service is funded in part by the Otto per Mille contribution of the Waldensian Church, enabling free access for people who need health guidance.
