Italian towns roll out free community health events

Several Italian municipalities are hosting free health‑promotion activities targeting residents of all ages. In Giungano, Campania, the second edition of the "Villaggio dei Bambini e della Salute" gathered children, educators and families for workshops, a round‑table and a pilot study on inter‑generational collaboration.

In Forlì, the "Cammina Con Noi" project organized a morning walk in Parco Urbano Franco Agosto with free blood‑pressure and oxygen‑saturation checks provided by local pharmacies and cardiology associations.

Nettuno hosted a two‑day "Non Romperle!" campaign, bringing a motorhome equipped with bone‑metabolism specialists to offer advice on osteoporosis and sarcopenia prevention.

Messina continued its "Salute in viaggio" tour, setting up an open‑air health post where hundreds of citizens received vision, hearing, dental and specialist screenings.

Cuveglio held the "Una questione di cuore" evening, focusing on cardiovascular prevention with talks by ASST Sette Laghi experts and municipal officials.

All events aim to raise awareness of preventive care, encourage healthy lifestyles and bring medical services directly to local communities.
