In a separate medical development, a new vaccine against the RS-virus, offered to pregnant women, has shown what experts describe as a ‘fantastic effect’. Clinical Professor Thea Kølsen Fischer from the University of Copenhagen noted that the vaccine, combined with preventative antibodies for newborns, has significantly reduced the number of infant hospitalizations typically seen during the autumn and winter seasons.
