Healthcare and veterinary infrastructure projects advance in Venezuela and Argentina

Public health and veterinary infrastructure projects are underway in Venezuela and Argentina.

In Venezuela, the Clínica Popular El Venado in the Baralt municipality is undergoing modernization as part of the ‘Plan Cayapa de la Salud’. The facility has received 35 tons of air conditioning equipment to be distributed across administration, consultation, dentistry, and pediatric emergency areas. Additional works include waterproofing and improvements to the internal lighting system. These upgrades aim to improve service conditions for medical staff and patients, benefiting over 23,000 residents in Baralt and neighboring communities in Lara state.

In Argentina, the Municipality of Salta has begun transforming a community center in San Benito into a second Municipal Animal Health Hospital. The project, currently 40% complete, aims to decentralize veterinary services in a high-demand area. The new facility will include consultation rooms, administrative spaces, an operating room, and a pre-operating area, along with updated electrical, water, and climate control systems to facilitate free preventive care and surgical procedures.
