Healthcare providers in Croatia and Slovenia acquire new medical vehicles

Healthcare facilities in Croatia and Slovenia are upgrading their mobile medical capabilities through new vehicle acquisitions.

In Croatia, the Požega-Slavonia County Health Center has acquired seven new vehicles totaling 112,658 euros. Funded by the county, four vehicles are designated for community health services and three for home care. These units will replace older models from 2004 and 2005, with three vehicles assigned to the Pakrac area and four to the Požega region to support nurses and medical staff in visiting patients.

In Slovenia, the Health Center Kranj has received a new emergency doctor vehicle as part of a national initiative. The Slovenian Ministry of Health, utilizing European Recovery and Resilience Facility funds, has distributed 42 emergency doctor vehicles across the country to improve response times. This investment, which includes 3.69 million euros for vehicles and a heliport in Kočevje, aims to allow emergency doctors to focus on life-threatening cases while enabling emergency teams to handle less critical interventions independently.
