Healthcare updates: CIC San Carlos schedules and Chilca facility relocation

The CIC San Carlos community health center has released its updated schedule for various medical specialties and services to improve local access to healthcare. Available services include obstetrics, clinical medicine, family medicine, psychology, ophthalmology, and dentistry. Additionally, the center provides health education, nursing, vaccinations, and testing services throughout the week.

In Peru, the Chilca health center has relocated its emergency service from the 9 de Diciembre barracks to a new module on Ciro Alegría Street. The move has faced criticism from staff regarding the distribution of rooms and the facility's condition, including dust accumulation and discrepancies with the Valle del Mantaro Health Network's layout. During the transition, emergency services were temporarily diverted to the La Libertad health center.
