HEAT Latin Music Awards to debut in Mexico for 2026 ceremony

The HEAT Latin Music Awards, also known as Premios Heat, have announced that the 2026 ceremony will be held in Mexico for the first time. The event, titled ‘HEAT Latin Music Awards al Estilo Jalisco’, is scheduled for November 5, 2026, at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center in Jalisco.

The ceremony will take place during ‘HEAT Week’, running from October 31 to November 5, coinciding with the traditional Day of the Dead festivities. The event is a collaboration between the awards and the government of Jalisco and the municipality of Puerto Vallarta.

General Director Diana Montes stated that Jalisco provides a ‘home and a place to come together once again around music’. The 2026 co-hosts include Karime Pindter, Caroline Aquino, La Segura, Ignacio Baladán, Yohana Vargas, and Dímelo King. The awards, which have a history spanning over ten years, were previously hosted in the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
