The HEAT Latin Music Awards, also known as Premios Heat, have announced that the 2026 ceremony will be held in Mexico for the first time. Titled ‘HEAT Latin Music Awards al Estilo Jalisco’, the event is scheduled for November 5, 2026, at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.

The ceremony is part of ‘HEAT Week’, a six-day program running from October 31 to November 5 that coincides with traditional Day of the Dead festivities. The program will be split between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta and will be broadcast live via LosHeat.tv.

In collaboration with the government of Jalisco and the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, the awards will highlight regional heritage through local art forms such as Tonalá ceramics, Wixárika beadwork, and piteado leatherwork. Local artisans are reportedly collaborating to create unique balloon-shaped trophies for the winners. The ceremony will be hosted by a group of international personalities from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
