Heat warning issued for Tři Dvory, Czech Republic

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute issued a heat warning for the municipality of Tři Dvory and surrounding areas. Forecasts predict afternoon temperatures above 31 °C on 19 June, rising to over 34 °C on 20 June, and again above 31 °C on 21 June. The advisory highlights a high risk of heat‑related illness, dehydration and even railway track deformation due to extreme heat. Residents are urged to maintain adequate fluid intake, limit physical activity during midday, keep children, the elderly and sick individuals out of direct sunlight, and avoid leaving pets or people in parked cars.

The institute recommends drinking non‑alcoholic, unsweetened beverages, preferably combined with mineral water, and to stay in shaded or cool environments during the hottest parts of the day.
