Heat wave brings thunderstorms in Eskişehir and crowds to Samsun beaches

Two days earlier, temperatures in the Atakum district of Samsun reached 25 °C, prompting a surge of locals and visitors to the seaside. The warm, sunny conditions led to crowded beaches, with families picnicking, walking along the shore, and swimming in the sea.
