Heathrow Airport robbery: Four sentenced for CS gas attack

Four men have been sentenced to prison following a robbery at London Heathrow Airport involving the use of CS gas. The incident occurred on December 7, 2025, at Terminal 3, where the suspects targeted two female passengers arriving from Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to court records, the group used CS gas in an elevator and surrounding areas, causing panic and forcing a multi-hour lockdown of the terminal. The gas exposure resulted in several people being hospitalized, including a cafe employee who reported coughing up blood.

At Isleworth Crown Court, defendants Tyrone Richards (31), Anton Clarke-Butcher (25), Omoneke Whyte (31), and Denzel Eduardo (29) pleaded guilty to public order offenses. Judge Kwame Inyundo described the group's actions as involving “serious and prolonged violence.”
