Heavy Rain and Dust Storm Alerts Hit UAE Regions Including Al Ain

The UAE's National Centre of Meteorology issued a rain alert for Al Ain and eastern and southern areas, warning of light to moderate rain that could become heavy, with inland temperatures reaching the high 40s °C.

The alert also warned of dust storms with winds up to 40 km/h, reduced visibility and urged residents to keep doors and windows shut, avoid outdoor activities, and drive safely. A rough‑sea warning advised against swimming as waves could reach six feet, though calmer conditions are expected later.

Temperatures are forecast between 43‑48 °C inland and 39‑45 °C along the coast, with humidity easing from about 95 % to 80 %.
