Planned power outages are scheduled across various regions in Greece due to maintenance, reinforcement, and upgrading works by the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO).

In Crete, outages are scheduled for Thursday, October 8. Affected areas include parts of Heraklion (Chersonissos, Viannos), Chania (Gavdos), Rethymno (Agios Vasileios), and Lasithi (Ierapetra, Sitia). The interruptions will impact residential areas, agricultural stations, and various local infrastructures.

In Thessaloniki, scheduled outages are occurring on Wednesday, October 7. These affect the city center, specifically along Georgiou Theotoka, Antoniou Kamara, and Manousogianni streets, as well as parts of the Achaliou industrial zone. Authorities advise consumers to disconnect sensitive electrical appliances during these technical works.
