HEDNO announces planned power outages across Attica, Crete, and Thessaloniki

Planned electricity outages are scheduled across several Greek regions due to maintenance, construction, and network upgrade works by HEDNO (DEDDIE).

In Attica, significant interruptions are expected in Ano Liosia, Lavrio, Keratea, Ilioupoli, Athens, Kallithea, Alimos, Keratsini, Piraeus, and Voula. Specific areas in Athens, such as Ipparchou and Rodopis streets, and parts of Piraeus and Keratsini, will experience varying durations of power loss.

In Thessaloniki, outages are planned for the Ampelokipoi area. In Crete, scheduled maintenance will affect roads in the centers of Heraklion, Chania, and Rethymno, including specific streets in Karteros and western Rethymno.

Residents and businesses in the affected zones are advised to take necessary precautions as electrical installations should always be treated as being under tension.
