HEDNO announces scheduled power outages in Crete and Thessaloniki

HEDNO has announced scheduled power outages across several regions in Greece on Tuesday, August 25, to facilitate maintenance, reinforcement, and network upgrade works.

In Crete, outages are planned for various areas within the Heraklion and Rethymno prefectures. In Heraklion, affected locations include the settlements of Kyparissi, Galeni, Kalou, and Roukani, as well as specific businesses and residential areas near Knossos Avenue and Pitoulaki Street. In Rethymno, disruptions will affect areas west of Prine, including Mikri Gonia, Agios Andreas, and several surrounding villages, impacting residential consumers, pumping stations, and telecommunications antennas.

In Thessaloniki, power interruptions are scheduled for the Oraiokastro area, specifically affecting sections of 25th Martiou Street between Chrysostomou Smyrnis and Trapezountos, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
